What it is
Pressure washing and power washing are not the same job.
The terms get used interchangeably, but there's one real difference. Pressure washing uses high-pressure water to blast away dirt and debris, and suits softer surfaces like wood and brick. Power washing adds heat: high-pressure hot water for larger, heavier-duty jobs where cold water won't cut it.
Pressurized water can do a lot on its own. It's not where the results come from, though. The real skill is matching a specific cleaning agent to the contaminant that needs to come off. We stock forty-three detergents and use them on a regular basis, chosen to clean almost any substrate without damaging the surface, the surroundings or the environment.
The true art behind power washing lies in matching the detergent to the contaminant. It's what sets us apart.
Why a professional
For some jobs a residential pressure washer will do the trick. For the rest you need equipment that runs hotter and harder, and someone who knows which surfaces can take it. These machines only shoot water, but at pressures that can carve soft stone, strip wood and injure a non-professional. Knowing when to hold back matters as much as knowing when to push.

Hot-water wash trailers
Specialized trailers that heat and pressurize on site, so the crew arrives with everything the job needs, from a storefront to a parking structure.

Scrubbers and sweepers
A fleet of ride-on scrubbers, sweepers and rotary surface cleaners for warehouse floors, lots and large flat surfaces where a wand would take days.

Water recovery and filtration
Waste water is recovered and recycled through a 10 micron filtration system instead of running to the storm drain. In some jurisdictions that isn't just the right thing to do, it's the law.

Both. Cold high-pressure water for softer surfaces like wood and brick, hot water for heavy-duty commercial and industrial work, grease and oils. The choice is made per surface, not per truck.
Not when the pressure, temperature and detergent are matched to it. Many surfaces are too soft for certain applications and the risk of damage with the wrong setup is real, which is why we assess and test a discreet area before we wash.
We recover it. We've toured municipal water treatment facilities to understand what grey water discharge does to lakes and streams, and our wash trailers recover and filter waste water rather than sending it down the storm drain.
